Reduce Your Exposure
Computers, phones, home wireless routers & Smart Meters generate dangerous levels of radio frequency electromagnetic microwave radiation (RF/EMR). It's long name for something that you can't see, hear, smell or taste but is hazardous.
- Hard wire instead of wireless access. See the ideas in the section below "Get Wired".
- Avoid "smart" appliances or hard-wire them with an ethernet cable.
- Turn your router OFF at night. Consider using a "signal tamer" to reduce the RF/EMR you are exposed to when the WiFi is turned on.
- Do not use devices such as tablets or computers on your lap. Though some computers are called "laptops, if you read the "fine print" you will learn that a certain distance is recommended between you and the device.
- Cell phones: Hold the phone away from your head and use speakerphone. Turn it on airplane mode or OFF before putting it in your pocket. Consider a shielded case. Do not sleep next to your phone. Keep it out of your bedroom.
- The highest exposures come from streaming video. Always download videos OR better yet, stream them through an ethernet cable.
- Use corded landlines for phone calls when possible.
- Reduce your exposure in cars: turn off bluetooth, WiFi, etc. Signals are amplified in a car, especially when moving, because of the metal and the fact that as you drive the phone switches connections from one cell tower to the next.
- Work to make changes as you can. If you return to your old habits, try again! Try making changes with a friend.

Corded phones using landlines are the safest way to make a phone call.
There is no radiation. Copper landlines have the benefit of remaining operational in a power outage.
The many purported benefits of 5G Wireless need further review. The 911 benefits are questionable. In a recent California fire, 60 people died because of power outages that resulted in failures of the reverse 911 call to reach them. Those who survived had copper landlines. Fiber Optic cables can provide much of the benefit without the risk. Nothing is as secure, reliable, or safe as a copper landline.
